Egner- Apt.Glaspalast

We stayed at the Glass Palace three years ago. We really liked the simple but beautiful apartment with the fantastic view. We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the journey there (without a car) has become a bit difficult for us.

Fantastic views with a warm welcome. Competent staff. Open communication. A well-kept, homely atmosphere. A beautiful garden to relax in.

We keep returning to this gem. The magnificent view of Locarno, the lake, and the mountains is priceless. The apartment is very bright and beautifully furnished. It's not luxury—you don't need it. The hostess is helpful and very personable. We also know the apartment next door, and it's also very nice. A vacation rental like you rarely find—not your average place!

You'll enjoy spending time in the lovingly and stylishly designed rooms so much that the garden, which is essentially a botanical garden, and the magnificent view stretching far into Italy almost get neglected. The facilities are more than functional; nothing is lacking, including the expert and friendly service with on-site assistance, information, and tips. Hopefully, this place will stay for a long time to come...

Just one single detail: I would like to have 2-3 coat hooks in the bathroom ;)))) In the description of how to use the key safe, mention that the mechanical device for opening it is attached to a chain on the safe.

We've been guests at Casa Egner for 20 years. Sometimes just the two of us, like this time in the Glass Palace apartment. Sometimes with our children or with friends. Beautifully situated 100 meters above Locarno, with magnificent panoramic and far-reaching views. All apartments are stylishly, lovingly, practically, and unfussily furnished. A beautiful terraced garden to enjoy and use. Thanks to S. for her hospitality.
