Residenza Corallo Apartment 20

Accommodation was okay. One garbage bag for two weeks in such a large apartment wasn't enough, as you can't buy individual bags in Ascona.

Ideally located, Ascona, Lido, and Locarno are easily accessible by bike. Large balcony but small table. Furniture is showing its age. Carpeting is clean, comfortable, but tricky to maintain. The electrical installation, with only 6A, is very limited these days (a table grill and "something else" might blow the fuse). Furthermore, only fuses are provided. Electrically compatible ones would be better (about CHF 20 at OBI). Still ideal for a vacation; we'll be back in 2026.

After my father died at the age of 101, I really wanted to have a few days of peace and quiet. But a family with two children had something against that. From 7 a.m. onwards, there was almost non-stop running around the apartment, loud shouting... The parents only intervened sporadically. Only after other residents complained did things get a little better.

* I had to book this apartment in the Corallo retroactively because you canceled my original confirmed reservation from Jan. 24 in the Casa Gatto Stivalato (Ref. No. CH6612-105.1) at relatively short notice without giving any reasons.

Not a "romantic Ticino apartment", but ideal as a (summer) holiday apartment and very well located.

80s style, but very clean and well maintained! Top! Fulfills the offer perfectly. Price - performance is right.

The apartment was functional, not very modern, but everything worked..

- good central location - apartment is old and has no sound - no water pressure for showering - no ventilation in bathroom & toilet - balcony only comfortable for 2 people - apartment is dingy!

Deficiencies: in the small room, the sink and mirror were removed at the request of the owner (instead of repaired) = loss of quality, carpets should be replaced, WiFi signal is extremely weak, otherwise the apartment is OK, we booked it again for 2022

The apartment is very large and in a great location.

Great location and quiet neighborhood. Nice view over the gardens and mountains. Entire apartment laid out with old fitted carpet. Apartment door with glass pane, when you walk through the apartment corridor, the motion detector in the stairwell reacts and turns on the light. Too small toilet ring that does not fit on the toilet bowl.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment in Ascona. The welcome was warm and we found the apartment clean and intact (except for the oven). The room layout was ideal for the 6 of us. The toilet is very small and unfortunately without a window, which is nice that it can be used separately from the rest of the bathroom. Lots of practical storage space in the bathroom and also in the kitchen. The silver frying pan is absolutely bad, everything burns!

Close to the center and yet in a good location with little through traffic. We found the apartment very clean. The only negative point is the carpets that were laid. For children and dogs that are often on the ground throw real bacteria. A hard floor covering would also be easier to maintain

This 1st floor apartment is just a 10 minute walk from the Lido and the lakeside cafes and restaurants. It is in a quiet location and yet most of it can be reached on foot. There is also a Migros and a lovely café 300m away. It's a shame that there are fitted carpets everywhere except in the wet rooms. He gives off a foul odor. In the apartment above us (laid out with laminate) which our friends rented, it was much more pleasant... WLAN is only good in the stairwell.

Great location, easy access to the lake. You could do more with the apartment, it has a musty old carpet in it and unfortunately no sofa, you won't find a hair dryer either. The location and the balcony are great.

Comment on WLAN: the reception strength leaves a lot to be desired
