Haus Lauber Apt.2 Apartment 2

Although the location was good, we did not have hot water for the first 24 hours of our visit. We reported to the office and were told that the boiler was on a timer and would not start heating water until 6pm, and hot water supply runs out if other tenants use a lot. At 6pm there was no hot water, at 8pm we called the after-hours phone number and were told the boiler was on a timer from 10pm-6am. Still no hot water the next day. We gave up, moved to a hotel at considerable extra cost.

This apartment had everything that me and my husband could have asked for. Very central for both cable car and train station and shops. I would stay here again for a skiing or hiking holiday.

enjoyed staying here, good location. everything needed was there. plenty of space. kitchen had everything. nice big fridge/freezer. bathroom fine, but careful in the shower as is doesn't have a non-slip tray (i'm in my mid-60s and not so mobile as i was!). some cleaning implements may be useful - small vacuum or even dustpan and brush for the kitchen and a mop for the bathroom floor. the slippers for the floor were a nice touch. consider the stairs carefully if physically impaired.

Beautiful apartment near station and on main street.

The apartment is very nice and comfortable! Location is very convenient, near shops and public transport. Communication was great too. I would highly recommend this wonderful apartment.

The condition of the apartment and the equipment are excellent. Everything is as in the description.

Ideally located: very central to the gondola/train, restaurants, supermarket. Very easy/convenient storage of skis/ski boots (directly opposite) which saves lugging. The apartment is in a great old Wengener house - old, deep windows / balcony and a very nice apartment layout. The decor is very modern and you feel very comfortable. In summary: ideal for simply having a great time in Wengen.

Very good central location. Good facility status. Very steep stairs to the apartment; not suitable for people with walking difficulties. In the kitchen, a small pan with a lid and a bread knife are desirable. Only 2 water glasses available. 2 extra pillows desirable.

Great location but insufficient and non-adjustable heating, capricious WiFi signal, super narrow and steep stairs, kitchen utensils too limited.

This apartment is very well located in the heart of the village. Although the bedroom overlooks the main street, it is quiet, including at night since there are no cars. It is tastefully furnished and comfortable. Two remarks however: 1. There is a lack of crockery and especially utensils if you want to prepare to eat 2. the stairs to go up there are very steep and inconvenient with your luggage. Nonetheless, we had a great week there and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again or recommend it.

We spent a great ski week in Wengen. The apartment is very comfortable and practically furnished. We feel very comfortable. Only the beds were a bit hard; getting used to. The apartment is only 100 m away from the Mannlichen gondola lift; just perfect for skiing. And thanks to Interhome's partnership with Intersport Wengen, we were able to deposit our skis and ski boots right next to the valley station.

The location is very good and the furnishings are of high quality and tasteful, but overall the price is not justified, even in comparison to other offers.
