It still needs a few things: toaster, cooker, soil if you want to make lasagne or pizza, it didn't have any. And bed: pillows and blanket are very old and need to be replaced with new ones.

A lovely quiet place out in the countryside with a stunningly beautiful view. The owners are friendly and you have your own room on the first floor with a small kitchen, nice bathroom and ok living room. The balcony is the apartment's biggest plus. Beautiful view. The only minus is the owners' dog, which most of the time has a muzzle on, as it attacks the guests (us). Unfortunately it was not muzzled when we checked out. ........

The simple and functionally furnished 1 room studio is a good starting point for many activities near the Schwendi train station. The warm heating was particularly pleasant in winter.

The Chalet Maria offers a very cozy and centrally located accommodation. The facility is kept very simple, but is sufficient for the most necessary things. This accommodation is recommended for a group of three people.

Rooms very nice inside. You feel good. Access is steep and narrow. In winter probably only possible with chains. Otherwise everything tip top.

The room was clean and functional with a lovely little balcony overlooking the Eiger. The accommodation is just a few minutes' walk from the Schwendi train station with good connections to Grindelwald and the mountain railways. A parking space is available directly in front of the house.

We do not think the apartment is worthy of this name; it was more of a studio. The mini kitchen was in a cupboard that we have not seen before. The equipment needed to be replaced. The beds in particular were bad and shorter than 200 long so my husband could not lie straight. The pillows were filled with some sort of flakes. Everything was very neat and clean. The owner was very friendly. The view is beautiful and only 2 km from the gondola. Snow chains necessary.

Correct accommodation, except for the pillows to sleep, very uncomfortable! There is also no sofa. Its location is close to Grindelwald, but in the area where the valley closes, so there are few views of the Grindelwald Valley, although there is a nice view of the Eiger. A five-minute walk away there is a train station that takes you to the center of Grindelwald in 5 min. if you don't go by car.

XXX and XXX made is very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect, just outside the main town making it very relaxed and tranquil. The views from our balcony were amazing, looking straight onto the North Face of the Eiger. We look forward to staying here again.
