Bergfrieden Apt. 2

Our stay in Wengen was absolutely wonderful. The condo was perfect - spotless, beautifully maintained, and even nicer than the photos (which is saying something!). The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms modern, and having a washer/dryer was a great bonus. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the cleanliness to the comfort and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Wengen and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

We very much enjoyed this home. Everything was as advertised. We didn't cook while here but the kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside area for relaxation and the fabulous view. The washer and dryer were very convenient.

A nice well appointed, clean apartment with 2 rooms, one en-suite, large living area and small kitchenette. It's at the top end of the village, a good uphill walk from the station. We had our baggage in backpacks and walked to it. If you have suitcases you might be better with a Taxi, there are a couple in Wengen The "Cevi youth organisation has a large building (for 55 kids) just across from the Chalet, occasional you would hear them but they were no real problem.

Very clean and nice place in a beautiful location. I would definitely stay there again.

Been here for the third year in a row. Always liked it very much, a few disadvantages: there is no mood lighting in the living room, a microwave is missing and you can hear the footsteps of the upstairs neighbors. This year the youth in the nearby Chalets were quite busy. We are worried about all the construction plans behind and next to Bergfrieden (there are a lot of "sticks"). That gives a lot of construction traffic of smelly and noisy diesel trucks. We doubt whether we want to come back here...

Comfortable 10 year old apartment, with large balcony and beautiful mountain views. Especially for two people nice and spacious. Wonderful shower. Underfloor heating. A few small points for improvement in terms of design: * there is no microwave * some mood lighting in the home maker would be more pleasant. A downside are the contact noises of the upstairs neighbors (footsteps). There are hard floors everywhere. So you have to hit it, one stomps more than the other.

The apartment is very clean and well appointed with dishes and kitchen supplies. The building is about a 5-8 min walk up the hill from the train station depending on your fitness. There is a wonderful view from the large deck. There is an elevator. Laundry machine is on the ground floor. You may need to buy detergent but there was a small amount when we were there and we left more. There are two bedrooms each with two single beds. Heated towel racks are nice. They give you two keys.

A spacious apartment with a very large terrace and beautiful views, easily accessible and an excellent kitchen!

Nice modern apartment, reasonably furnished with Ikea stuff. Point of attention is the lighting. A few mood lamps in the living room would help.

Loved the place. Terrace is fabulous. The extra covid-service of delivering groceries to home was just a fantastic treat that made the stay extra special as of the first minute. Having soap available (esp during covid) and the basic necessities as salt & oil just makes it all the better. Well equipped kitchen though a cooking pan for the oven would be nice. Empty coke bottle under the couch did make us wonder on cleaning but overall, fabulous and super clean. Great bathroom.

We were very satisfied with the beautiful, clean holiday apartment, only large double beds would have been desirable for us.

Very nice apartment, a little outside the village, in a very quiet location and benefiting from a magnificent terrace. Modern and very well appointed apartment. All that's missing is a raclette oven!

We have now stayed in the same apartment 5 times and are always amazed at how new the apartment is. The pillows are very hard!

Good, clean flat, large balcony with great views. Check in process was smooth - the interhome folks waited beyond closing time to handover the keys. Directions to the chalet could be better than the ones provided. Please also note that there is quite a steep uphill walk to the chalet and with bags, it can get difficult. Chalet is around 800 meters from the Wengen station. WiFi was slow during our stay and chalet can do with a microwave.

This apartment is well located, it is spacious and bright. Unfortunately the beds leave something to be desired: very thin mattresses, very basic box springs and pillows so hard that it looks like a punishment!!! The living room and the kitchen are well laid out but frankly the bedrooms are very disappointing
