Beautiful apartment, well-equipped, very clean and spacious, ideal for a couple. The best part is the terrace, which offers a beautiful view despite the crane in the middle. The worst part is the uncomfortable pillows and the TV, which had almost no French channels. To get to the underground parking, you have to put the car in an elevator. Also, the shower head is too heavy. It's a beautiful region with very high prices, and the guest card wasn't very useful.

What a great rental! Roomier than expected and had all the amenities needed. The view was spectacular, right at the base of the Alps! The outdoor space was lovely as well! Some nice outdoor furniture under a roof overhang. Even got a visit from a friendly cat, which was a nice bonus! Used the washer and dryer in the building, very handy to have! Check in and out was seamless. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Also, AirBnB was close to main street! No major hill to climb.

Stayed in Chalet Smaragd (West) for 9 nights. The accomodation is clean, comfortable, functional and spacious. This is the second time we have stayed here. If we were coming to Grindelwald again we would certainly consider staying here again.

Apartment Smaragd West was extremely comfortable and easy to relax in. The view from the terrace was amazing. It has very easy access to Grindelwald and its facilities. Would definitely use this accommodation again.

The apartment is well maintained and just right for a one-week stay. She has everything you need. Only weak point; can be a bit dark as it is on the ground floor. But you have the freedom of the terrace.

The beautiful apartment in a good location offers space and a view. It is equipped with the necessary things and is located in the immediate vicinity of the bus and ski lift (Firstbahn).

The apartment has everything you need. It is very quiet and yet very centrally located. The garage lift is a bit exciting and the garage space itself is not necessarily suitable for large vehicles. All the sights of Grindelwald can be reached within a short time by public transport.

Excellent chalet, built and furnished to a high spec. Great view of the mountains from the large terrace, and birds and dragonflies on the pond. Peaceful location, despite being so centrally positioned. It's nextdoor to the Hotel/Apartments Abendrot though, which means their balconies overlook you and/or you could get e.g. noisy families. Cleanliness was good but would benefit from a little more attention to detail. Also instructions for rubbish removal need reviewing - very confusing!

In good weather and warm temperatures, it is a centrally located, beautiful apartment as a starting point for numerous hikes. Very quiet despite the central location. In bad weather or in autumn/winter, the apartment is dark due to the construction. Bedroom dark even in summer. Even if you book more than one week, only one set of linen is provided and there is no vacuum cleaner or similar. Cleaning utensils for the kitchen available.

Only 150 meters to the Firstbahn, as well as to the bus. Beautifully furnished, comfortably furnished apartment on the ground floor with a terrace and a view of the mountains. Underground parking space in the house. Overall highly recommended!

The location of the apartment is superb with magnificent views. Lovely garden and terrace - sadly sun only appears between the mountains for a short period of time at Christmas time (not the apartments fault, though). The apartment was not as warm as we would have wished for, but still manageable. All in all - a great place to enjoy your holiday.

Everything fit from A to Z and was as advertised. Great terrace and the absolute best thing when you came back with cold feet, the floor heating in the bathroom (I don't have any at home) was a pleasure. :-) Only those who want to have sauce hours on the terrace only get a little of it. Was really nice, thank you
