Carbon Copy is closer to an aparthotel than a private residence, and that has its perks. The building has some of the finest facilities in town, including a sauna, a well-equipped gym, the luxurious communal hangout areas with a pool table, and a rooftop terrace with a large pool (and stunning views over the city). The elegant interior almost fades in comparison to the amenities, but we like the artistic touches scattered around this home, such as the statuettes and the b&w photo prints – and the panoramic windows aren't too shabby either.

Home truths:
* As the master bedroom is exterior-facing, some of the street noise can be heard from the outside
* Although the metro will get you to Eixample quickly, Sarrià isn't super central
* Pets are allowed – those with allergies get in touch if you have any concerns
* The only parking in the area is public, and therefore payable
* You can ask the host to add another bed in the study if you have unexpected guests (as is in the photo)
