A gas stove and a small fan heater were available for heating. These are not sufficient for the large common room, the bathroom and the 2 bedrooms. Gas supply is tenant responsibility. For firing fireplace, no wood. 10 € for a trunk filling. Utensils were missing for grilling (charcoal, tongs, lighters,...). the italy. coffee machine + the pots are not suitable induction cooker. Furniture old-fashioned, worn. A room damp. Contact person very nice.

We thank L. for his warm welcome and friendliness. Access to accommodation is steep but it is the guarantee of an exceptional view of the bay of Nerja. Clean, healthy and practical accommodation. We were 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 & 8 and we felt very safe. The pool is like a dream. Be careful to close the gate properly otherwise you will have a visit from the stray dogs nearby. The points to be improved would be the installation of an air conditioning, mosquito nets and a plancha.

If you want to find peace and quiet in a dreamy environment away from the main tourist flows and still don't want to be secluded, the Villa Montemar is the right place for you. Magnificent views of the mountains and the sea included. The pool and the terrace are wonderful, but the interior is sometimes quite "dusty".

The Villa Montemar in the mountains above Torrox Pueblo with a view of Frigiliana and the mountain ranges east of it as well as the bay from Nerja to Cerro Gordo lives up to its name. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area and the peace and quiet far away from tourism. The interior of the house is good and in the style of many Spanish country houses. Something could be modernized here and there. But everything is clean and you can feel good. The pool is well-kept and also offers a great view. But there is no non-swimmer area and no heating of the pool. The landlady was very friendly. She picked us up at an agreed meeting point at the motorway exit and guided us to the house.

House faithful to the description but nothing more. Furnished in a typical "slightly aging" way, look at the photos. Lack of storage and utensils in the kitchen. Friendly and reserved owner, breathtaking view, very quiet location.
