Open kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, grill, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. No heating option. 2 large terraces, south facing position. Terrace furniture. Cave houses are typical and unique properties in Granada. Mainly located in the Sacromonte district (UNESCO heritage), they offer fantastic views to the Alhambra and its gardens. They were specially designed to isolate from the Andulusian summer heat and also the winter cold coming from the Sierra Nevada (closest mountains). Modern, beautiful, very comfortable single-family house "Cueva de Lindaraja", 2 storeys in 2018. In the district of Sacromonte, in a quiet, sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. Private: terrace, garden furniture. Stepped path (20 steps) to the house. Grocery, restaurant 500 m, bar 100 m, bus stop "Albayzín - Granada Centro" 50 m. Nearby attractions: La Alhambra 2 km, Catedral de Granada 1 km. Please note: car not advisable.

We found the cave beautifully kitted out, clean and tidy .. Lovely and cool at the hottest time of year . It would be better to have a signpost at the bottom of the steps on the road as we had to ask directions . I would like to stress though, that if you are not 100% fit this property and area is not for you. Lots of steps , lots of hills, cobblestones and streets inaccessible by car. But beautiful and fascinating all the same . We were quite happy there

Not the average apartment. Actually it is cave home but renovated, clean and bright, equipped with everything necessary. I mean, it is a apartment/home built into the caves in the side of mountain. It has kitchen area, living room and 3 separate bedrooms. Equipment is fresh, everything works as intended. It was great experience - something unique and fun. However beds are a little bit narrow. Maybe not the best place in colder weather though electric heaters are provided.

It was a good experience to live in the caves. Thanks to XXX the Host who was there at all times. Very close to the Alhambra, you can get there on foot. The only downside is that there are no stores nearby (only a small one 300 meters away that has nothing or what it has is expired) so I recommend bringing provisions and food for the stay. Ideal to go with children or large families. Recommendable ****
