Rose Cottage is a charming single-storey cottage set in a remote part of Scotland, two miles from the village of Lybster. This cottage sleeps five people and has three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles with doors to the garden and a single bed, along with a shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside there's ample off road parking and a lawned garden with furniture. Rose Cottage is a lovely base within this vast unspoilt area of Scotland, which is just waiting to be explored.

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 2 x double with doors to garden, 1 x single. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area. Sun room.

Area
The village of Lybster is situated in a sweeping bay with views across the North Sea and down to the Moray Coast. Within the village there's hotels, shops and a golf course. This part of Scotland has archaeological sites, and close by is a RSPB site and John o'Grouts.

Region
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Lovely property. Peaceful location. Small beach nearby. Owners live nearby, friendly and helpful. Plenty of space. Comfortable living. Nice garden.. Lybster has small convenience store. Lidl a few miles away near Wick. Would recommend

This is a beautiful cottage in a fabulous location.. Lots of places to visit all within half an hour of the cottage, many off the beaten track so read all the local tour guides. Only down side , no pub/ restaurant within walking distance, but 5/10min drive to a couple unfortunately due to time of year weren't yet open so can't reccomend any.

Having stayed in many cottages over Northern Scotland for the last 20 years I can safely say this was the best, so much so we re-booked it half way through the week for a week in July! This is a beautiful one level stand alone bungalow which stands just half a mile from some fantastic cliff top views over the North Sea, with a winding path down to an isolated bay. The cottage is well equipped throughout with a lovely front section with wonderful views over the farmland and sea. Good sized bedrooms x 2 double and 1 x single and lovely bathroom which contains a good modern powerful shower. Nice garden areas surrounding the cottage which I am sure will be well appreciated during the summer months. We were welcomed by both John and Lorraine personally on arrival and were left a wonderful generous welcome pack to start the holiday. We look forward to our week in July

Superb location down a single track road, just near the village of Lybster. Very friendly hosts, great welcome pack. The cottage is really well set up, very comfortable beds, and a lovely garden room with views across to the sea. Lots to do in the surrounding countryside, which is stunning too. Some steps up to the door, but not difficult. One of the best holiday cottages we have ever visited.

Loved it. Great location, well equipped, comfy beds, good shower, had everything we needed and the owners are very friendly and thoughtful.. Will be recommending Rose Cottage to friends and family.

"First timers" (2) at "Cottage" rentals;--..Well ;-very impressed.-Very clean and well appointed with all the necessary" bits and bobs" for day to day living supplied;-hired a car at Inverness Airport and so were able to tour local sights etc.(needed)..Hosts very welcoming and unobtrusive .;-had a really relaxing ;enjoyable stay ;.thank you so so much;-Encouraged to try further "rentals" hoping they "might "be up to this very high standard..
