Cooinda Flat is a first floor apartment, above the owner's home in the village of Morar, three miles from the fishing village of Mallaig on the west coast of Scotland. The apartment sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one twin, as well as a bathroom with corner bath. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is ample off road parking. Cooinda Flat boasts Loch and mountain views and is a great place to get-away-from-it-all.

All first floor. Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with corner bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Ground floor utility/entrance hall.

Area
The bustling fishing village of Mallaig offers shops and restaurants, and is an excellent gateway to the Isle of Skye. The village is also the last stop for the famous Jacobite steam train, as featured in the Harry Potter movies, and the town of Fort William is within driving distance.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

The apartment is a good base for exploring the area and the views from the living room, were lovely. The bedrooms were beautiful and good quality. The owner was nice and helpful.

Cooinda Flat was very comfortable and the living room had a superb view over Loch Morar. There were excellent walking routes near to hand and a very good train link with Mallaig which, in any event, is only 3.5 miles distant. Consequently, Cooinda is a very good base for visiting the small isles.

Amazing view from lounge / kitchen. Ideal location for touring a beautiful part of Scotland. Lots of cycling and walking.There were lovely eating places in Mallaig. Owner was very welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful location with selection of beaches, boat trips, swimming in sea and loch! Cooinda Flat is very quiet, as inland, but still very accessible to the beach by foot, car or bike. There is a beautiful view of Loch Morar from the sitting room window.
