Holding a wealth of history in this idyllic Scottish town from its amazing 14th century Melrose Abbey, to the Trimontium Museum Trust. Melrose also provides a host of lovely local businesses to visit, from cafés and delis, to family-run butchers and grocers. Explore the beautiful Priorwood Garden and Harmony Garden, both run by the National Trust for Scotland, or head out on a walk along the St Cuthbert's Way.
