Isla Cottage is a detached bungalow on the outskirts of Blairgowrie in Perthshire. the cottage sleeps four people and has a double bedroom, a twin and a family bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking, a lawned front garden and a rear courtyard with furniture and a barbecue. Sitting close to the local golf course and in beautiful surroundings, Isla Cottage is a wonderful family-friendly cottage all year round.

Area
Situated on the banks of the River Ericht, the red stone town of Blairgowrie makes a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful county of Perth and the lovely Angus Glens. The town is overlooked by hills and mountains, making this region superb walking, riding and cycling country. Golfers are very well catered for with many courses in the area including Rosemount and St Andrews and Gleneagles all within easy reach. Glamis Castle has a long history, and is said to be the most haunted castle in Scotland as well as the setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth. The Beech hedge at Meikleour was planted in 1745 and is the highest in the world. With so much on offer, this is a great year round holiday destination for the whole family.

The house was great and we enjoyed our stay.. Using the bath and shower is very difficult if you have any disabilities.

We found getting in and out of the bath difficult.. The shower is over the bath with fixed glass panels. The wash basin also being to close to the gap for getting in and out of the bath. Otherwise all ok. Good location for visiting National trust of Scotland properties.

Perfect location for playing golf we managed to play Landsdown Rosemount Alyth which is only 5miles away & Strathmore , we were very lucky the weather was lovely , ideal for visiting local touristy places We will certainly go back , Isla Cottage is like Home from Home very comfortable ,Thank you ..

The bungalow is perfect! It's furnishings are of exceptional quality, and it is comfy, cosy and a real home from home. The layout is wonderful and it has such a good, peaceful 'feel' to it. The cul-de-sac in which it is located is quiet and everyone we met was incredibly friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Isla Cottage and found it perfectly situated to visit all the main cities including Edinburgh and Dundee, wow watching dolphins jumping out of the sea as we sat on the beach near Dundee, you can't beat it!
