Mrs Walters, March 2020
January 2020
Lovely well equipped house, gorgeous view when you get to see it, sadly we were very unlucky with the weather, fantastic wood burner which we used to full advantage.. We picked this cottage for its remote location for wildlife and night photography, on the first night we saw an amazing sky but unfortunately it rained almost constantly thereafter, but if you're looking to stargaze and you get a clear night then this property is definitely a winner.
A point to note is that the access road is in very poor condition and the turn into the property is very tight therefore anyone arriving in a car with low(ish) suspension may struggle our Volvo grounded out at a couple of points so care is needed.
Village shop stocks only basic essentials, Co-op in Kyle has everything you need. Glenelg inn warm and welcoming but kitchen is closed during the winter hours, opens (Thursday - Sunday nights).
Would we return?
Yes!
