Affectionately known as the gateway to the Isle of Skye is Kyle Of Lochalsh, lying on the shores of Loch Alsh, this bustling town is home to an array of shops, hotels and restaurants and boasts a busy harbour which hosts a variety of cargo and fishing vessels. Nearby, a range of attractions will occupy your time, including Eilean Donan Castle, a popular landmark among tourists, situated on the edge of a stone causeway on the shores of Loch Duich. The area is full of unspoiled lochs and bays, travelling south you will discover Glenelg peninsula, and travelling north the picturesque village of Plockton greets you.
