The city of Inverness is the getaway to the Highlands of Scotland and is home to dominant mountains, lochs, wonderful forests sea cliffs. The legendary Loch Ness also rests in this area, with thrilling scenery. On the outskirts is Culloden Battlefield, which was the last battle on British soil. Inverness hosts museums, an art gallery, theatre, as well as a great selections of shops and restaurants. Flowing through the city is the River Ness, which offers amazing wildlife including dolphins.
