Description
Glashven, historically the village doctor’s house, is a large, spacious Edwardian Villa with lovely views over the Sound of Mull. Set back from the road, but overlooking the shore, the house enjoys a tranquil spot, within a quarter acre of land. The house has been beautifully decorated while retaining it's traditional charm, with a lounge, dining room, kitchen, two double bedrooms, a twin room with its own flight of stairs leading from the kitchen, and an additional bunk room situated off the landing, known affectionately as ‘The Captain’s Cabin’. Set within the crofting village of Kilchoan, the house is within easy walking distance of the shop, the local pub, the community centre, and the ferry to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, where there is a great selection of shops, cafés and an art gallery. Downstairs: Living room, dining room, kitchen, toilet with washbasin. Upstairs: Two double bedrooms, one small cabin room and one twin bedroom (accessed by staircase from kitchen), bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet and washbasin. Garden: Large and enclosed. Well kept front lawn with seating area.
