Two well-behaved pets allowed, however, please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Arnaval is a practical base with stunning views in Carbost. Note: The house has nearby streams, the garden is not fence-proof, children and animals should be supervised at all times so they do not escape. Area Situated on the west coast of the Isle of Skye, the delightful village of Carbost offers uninterrupted views over Loch Harport and is made up of a variety of houses dating from the early 19th century through to the modern day. Best known as the home to one of Scotland's finest distilleries, Talisker, who began producing c1825, the village also offers guided mountain walks and makes a great base from which to explore a variety of Skye attractions. The popular Dunvegan Castle, home to the MacLeod family who have been in residence since the 12th century, is well worth a visit, as are the various museums located in the area, including the Toy Museum at Glendale and the Museum of Island Life at Kilmuir. With interactive exhibitions and forest trails at the award-winning Aros Centre, there is something for the whole family to enjoy in this lovely holiday location.
