Had a week in this 400 year old cottage with a thatched roof.
The location is central in the small town of Newburgh but traffic noise was minimal. Newburgh itself is historic with some lovely walks round about and in easy distance of St Andrews etc. There is a good bakers and butchers as well as a Coop just a few minutes walking away (as well as a great Chinese takeaway).
The cottage was clean, modern and stylishly furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The garden is through an outside passage (as is typical in this town) and is absolutely delightful and secluded-with bbq faculties and the sound of bird song. If you have a dog, note that you can’t just let it out of the back door though!
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to our friends.
