The Log Cabin is surrounded by countryside and boasts mountain views and is set 10 miles from the bustling town of Oban. This log cabin sleeps two people and has open plan living accommodation consisting of a double bed, fitted kitchen and a sitting area with woodburning stove. There is also a separate shower room. Outside, the log cabin has off road parking for 2 cars and a shared decked area with duck pond. The Log Cabin in an ideal romantic retreat.

Area
The popular town of Oban is situated amongst hills and offers a number of bars, restaurants, shops. The tiny Isle of Lismore is just a short ferry ride away, boasting a wealth of wild flowers and home to 130 differing species of birdlife, whilst the Isles of Mull and Iona are a great location for a day trip.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Lovely little place.. It has everything what you need for your stay: well equipped kitchen, shower worked perfect. Oban is only 15-20 min away, Isle of Seil the same. A bit tricky to get in and out the property, but after couple goes you find the best way to do it

It was extremely peaceful, it's a nice time if people wanted to take a breather from a busy life to just chill in a lovely home away from home.. Gordon (grounds keeper) gave clear instruction to get to the cabin which wasn't hard to find as we expected it might be. We would 100% stay here again and reccomend to friends and family.

The cabin was small but pratical, cosy and well situated.. A tranquil spot that abounded in spectacular wildlife, ( a stag, golden eagle and red squirrel to name but a few). We left having recharged our batteries but with some feelings of sadness to leave all this behind

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE CABIN,WE HAD PLENTY OF WILDLIFE TO LOOK AT INCLUDING A LITTLE RED SQUIRREL THAT VISITED US EVERY DAY.. GORDEN Mc NIVEN WAS VERY HELPFULL,EVERYTHING RAN SMOOTHLY WHILE WE WERE THERE AND WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

If you're looking for a true log cabin, this is the one! Oban is not too far of a drive, but everything is far enough away that you are secluded, and left to it! Gordon who looks after you at check-in is very friendly and can't do enough to help, he is a credit to the place and owners, and makes himself available if there are any issues (we had none!). My wife and I were here 4 years ago and got engaged on the grounds, and we were here this week celebrating our honeymoon, we were given a complementary bottle of champagne to boot! I'm not sure what is the best feature of the log cabin, the log fire, duck pond directly outside, how cosy it is, the walk around the grounds, scenery, there are too many things to mention, juat amazing.

Loved my stay at the Log Cabin.. It was exactly what I was looking for and more. The cabin was great. Everything was nice and clean and tidy. Our host was lovely. We knew if there was a problem he would be there to fix it but did not bother us in any way. Has to be the best shower I have experienced in my time away from home. The weather was not the best but it didn't matter as the log burner was great. I would love to go back in the summer to fully experience the wild life and the scenery. Loved feeding the birds.

The location of the Log Cabin and the associated gardens were delightful.. It was a little nearer a road than expected but the traffic was very light and not a problem. There were more trees than the pictures showed which made the area very pretty though it did obscure the view of the distant mountains when the trees were in full leaf. The Log Cabin makes a lovely retreat and it is lovely to be able to walk in the grounds and go down to the river, or to walk along the path to the waterfall, or along the road and river to a more open vista with mountains and fields of lambs. If you like painting or drawing the associated house or Log Cabin is the place. You will be inspired!

I booked a weekend here for my partners 40th. We had a amazing time is was so peaceful. No kids and no mobiles was what we needed. I thought I was surprising her m but I became his fiance that weekend . We are going back for our honeymoon on the 8th September next year x

The house keeper and site manager must be extremely dedicated people as their work was faultless and nothing was too much trouble for them.. The cabin sparckled on our arrival and we were warmly welcomed by the manager. We cannot wait to return next year. What a magical place to stay.

It was unique to have such a beautiful lily pond with a large shoal of pretty goldfish and a fantastic setting. The site manager is dedicated to his job and we felt really comfortable there. A very beautiful drive from Edinburgh which took about 3 hours, brought us to our very cosy looking log cabin. We were greeted by Chris who was warm and welcoming and gave us a tour of the cabin and was very informative about the local area. The cabin itself is based in one main room, but has everything you need, apart from an oven, but we adapted and had a couple of very nice home cooked meals, but to be honest we also wanted to try some local restuarants as well. There was plenty of hot water and you would never be cold in there as ther are 2 electric fires and a very cosy log burning fire, which We tried on a couple of nights. The only thing that we didnt realise was the close proximity to the road, but it wasnt an issue as it really isnt a busy road, maybe one car every 5 minutes. We would definately reccomend, the isle of Seil, which is very close by, especially on a sunny evening as we did, some amazing photos. All in all, just what we needed to relax from our busy day to day lives down south.

Both the locations and views were amazing.. The cabin was located in a lovely peaceful place and the woodburning stove added to the charm. Although small, the cabin was a truly lovely place to stay.
