Beautiful cottage - the photos don't do it justice.. Tucked away, so very quiet and peaceful. The view is stunning from the lounge window and the from swings in the (enormous!) garden was even better. It's a really quirky layout which our kids loved with loads of space. Log fire during the evening was amazing. Great location is what we think is a very under-rated area of Scotland. Close to the forests of the Trossachs and Argyll for walking and biking, the sea lochs are just stunning with Loch Fyne less than an hour away - rock pooling on the beaches was a real favorite and an hour by train to Glasgow for museums on wet weather days. Perfect.
The only negative feedback I would give, which I would not want you to publish is that the kitchen needs a few more pots and pans and utensils. I understand they are new owners so they may well still be getting set up, but there were no wine glasses or side plates. A few big bowls to make a salad? That sort of thing, we managed as it was just us and the kids, but we've often hired cottages for a family celebration and cooked a big meal with everyone - we would have struggled to that here.
