Take the steep path from the rear of the property to a small local loch, originally the site of a 19th century slate quarry and well worth a visit. Head 3 miles up to the historic Iron Age Dunadd Fort or travel a little bit further afield to the fascinating Nether Largie Standing Stones (7 miles).
