The coastal resort of Montrose lies next to both the North and South Esk rivers, resting in the county of Angus, home to a selection of shops, restaurants, pubs, a Blue Flag beach, and the amazing Montrose Basin Wildlife Reserve. There are plenty of popular tourist spots in easy reach such as Arbroath, Brechin, Kirriemuir, and the adventure-lovers destination of the Cairngorms National Park.
