The seaside town of Montrose is found in the county of Angus with the North and South Esk rivers flowing on either side, home to a Blue Flag beach, museum, historic attractions, shops, pubs, restaurants, and the Montrose Basin Wildlife Reserve. Other nearby destinations include Arbroath, Brechin, Kirriemuir, and further afield, the outstanding Cairngorms National Park.
