Huntly is a quaint Aberdeenshire market town which is home to the impressive Huntly Castle, residence of the Gordon Clan, which is open to the public. In addition, there are good shops, pubs and restaurants clustered around the town square. For those with a keen interest in sport, activities include golf, Nordic skiing on an all weather track, swimming, angling, biking and walking. Nearby, Moray Firth offers a great chance to explore with its picturesque fishing villages, beaches and cliffs and the Cairngorms National Park.
