Despite a few rainy days, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The highlight was the view from the large patio window. Even when the weather wasn't so great, there was always something to see on the fjord. We spent the sunny days relaxing on the terrace or actively hiking or driving across the numerous fells in the area. The owners were super friendly and German-speaking. The mattresses were too soft for our liking, and the Wi-Fi was a bit weak. Otherwise, it was fantastic!

The cottage is a former boathouse, is located directly on the water and has a fantastic view. The cottage is located at the end of the village. The peace is great and yet all amenities are within walking distance (1.7 km). There are hiking opportunities and small trips in the immediate vicinity. For us it was great.

A beautiful accommodation with its own jetty and a balcony over the water. The landlady is extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodation is clean and perfectly equipped with everything. In Balestrand there are several restaurants, grocery stores, doctors, gas stations - everything you need. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and fishing and is beautiful. We will come again!
