Description
Live like royalty in your own castle in the hills of Umbria. The surrounding ancient woodland is home to all kinds of wildlife – roe deer, wild boar and pheasants – and stretches for miles around you. The home dates back to the middle ages, a fact you can feel in the huge banqueting hall (perhaps for celebrations), and each grand lounge and bedroom. Within the grounds, you’ll find a secluded pool surrounded by trees for privacy and plenty of alfresco dining spots on patios and terraces. Fancy a day trip? The medieval town of Gubbio is just a short drive away.
Home truths: *While not all of the rooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*This home is an old castle with a labyrinth of stairs and corridors inside. It will not suit those with limited mobility.
*One of the bedrooms contains a queen bed and a single bed, so would best suit a small family sharing at capacity.
*Your host welcomes well-behaved pets here on request.
*Your host can provide a high chair for infants, just ask.
*Cleaning and linen change are included with a stay here.
*In a remote location, having a car is recommended. There is plenty of private parking within the grounds.
