Castagno Apartment 2

The accommodation was okay, well-maintained and very clean, but unfortunately somewhat poorly furnished. The road to the accommodation is a disaster and almost impassable, with over a kilometer of huge potholes and rocks, making the house difficult to reach. The apartment is very humid inside. However, we didn't want to pay €15 a day for air conditioning; it's too expensive. Unfortunately, the power went out several times during the night, which triggered the alarm. The hosts spoke little English and no Italian.

It was a beautiful well maintained house. All necessary things were there.

The kitchen equipment is poor, the dishwasher doesn't really clean. There are moldy stains in the bathroom and water is leaking. The windows were very dirty on the outside! Unfortunately, our bathroom smelled of petrol almost the whole time, which came from the ventilation shaft that came from the garage below. Fly screens on the bedroom windows would be very helpful!!!!

If you are looking for peace and the best view of Mount Etna, this is the place for you. Zafferana is not far away with restaurants and shops.

This apartment offers a lot of space. King size beds, large bedrooms, new furniture. The terrace is also very spacious with a beautiful view. The road there is narrow and bumpy. Own transport is a must.

It is a very nice and clean accommodation. It is in a location from which you can undertake many activities.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet area with wonderful views of Mount Etna, the owners very kind and willing to help for anything. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need.

I can express myself in superlatives about p. Xxx, her sister and the holiday home they run. The ladies promised that next year there will be a swimming pool or jacuzi in the garden, which will be a perfect complement to the very good standard of this facility. The house is located away from busy streets and streets, but quite close to the main routes, so we have peace and large cities at our fingertips. In addition, we keep an eye on Mount Etna, so we know when to run away.

Wonderfully located accommodation. You can see Mount Etna from one side of the terrace and the sea from the other side. The apartment is well equipped and the rental is very friendly. We could have reached them at any time if there had been any problems - but there weren't :-)
