This apartment sits on the edge of a sunny little square in the pretty lakeside town of Menaggio. Start your day with breakfast on the balcony, then wander down to the water for a stroll along the shore and a browse of the local shops and delis. No car? No problem – the ferry port is a short walk away, ready to whisk you across the lake to neighbouring towns. Back home, the space has a warm, welcoming feel, with a sofa bed in the living room for additional guests and plenty of wardrobe space to make slipping into holiday mode a breeze.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*If you'll be arriving later than 6pm, your host can arrange collection of the keys from a nearby key box. This will need to be arranged in advance.
