We had a wonderful stay with fantastic views over Lake Como. You can start hiking directly from the house. However, there aren't many options for getting up there. The house is very nice and tidy. What was a bit annoying was the small, winding road leading up to the house. It's about 20 minutes to the lake, including shops and restaurants, if you drive at a brisk pace. However, the wonderful view makes up for it.
