Description
From Dusk Herald, the Vatican, Piazza Navona and Trastevere are all easily reachable on foot. You’ve also got the Tiber just around the corner – it’s hard to overstate just how well-placed the flat is. Inside it’s simple, but with a pretty wooden ceiling upstairs, and lots of light. The kitchen is a little beige, but we did like the geometric wallpaper. We also noticed a lot of birdsong coming through the windows, which added a lovely, bucolic feel to the place.
Home truths: *The upstairs ceiling is slanted and therefore very low in parts
*There's no lift and the apartment is on the second floor
*Most of the furniture is Ikea, and we found a few scratches on the coffee table
*The ladder up to the bedroom is very steep
*Two people will be on a sofa bed in the living room Amenities
