A great house in the middle of Barcis, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only negative is the traffic noise from the main road which sometimes woke us up early in the morning. But the house has an excellent location for hiking in the surrounding mountains. The one to the Campanile di Val Montanaia was great, but there were also simpler ones, such as from Erto to Casso or from Frissanco to Poffabro. There great local "La Pignata". In Barcis you can eat well at the Hotel Celis.

Comfy house in an amazing locality. Church belltower and village Christmas tree at our fingertips, just in front of the windows - we enjoyed a charming holiday stay here. The lake and nearby mountains offer superb daily tracking options.

The house is really cozy and equipped with everything you need. It is tastefully decorated and is suitable for both couples and families. Despite overlooking the main street of the village, when you are at home you don't hear much noise. The house is warm even though the outside temperatures were low (7 degrees in the morning). Too bad for the parking that during the weekend becomes almost impossible to find due to the large influx of people. We will definitely be back.

The town is pleasant and the lake has facilities and equipped areas. However there are no grocery stores provided, for example we have not found a greengrocer and the nearest supermarket is about half an hour by car. This leads to some discomfort for long stays. I do not recommend the path that leads to Monte Lupo and descends to Roppe, it is poorly maintained, the tall grass almost hides it and the signs of the CAI are hardly visible.
