Here’s a stay with real character. This traditional stone trullo might be simple inside, but it’s full of charm. The interior is mainly for sleeping – there’s a sofa bed in the main living space, and there's not a lot to cook with, just a barbecue outside. But you can spend all day outside, splashing around in the pool, grilling, and dining on the terrace. If you feel like eating out, there's a pizzeria just around the corner, and Locorotondo – with its cobbled streets full of authentic trattorias and bars – is only a ten-minute drive away.
