This 19th-century listed cottage was once part of the Old House of Keys, a former meeting place for Manx politics and the Isle of Man's parliament. It should come as no surprise that this home is steeped in history. Location-wise, right across the street is Castle Rushen, so you're truly in the centre of town. It's a quaint area, with a few cafes, eateries and a pub nearby, and Castletown Beach is a twenty-minute stroll away. For a fun day out, hop on the historic Steam Railway that runs through the south coast – it connects to the island's capital, Douglas, as well as the seaside villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary.
