The pretty village of Tinahely, with a pub and shop, is also home to The Courthouse Arts Centre, which hosts musical performances, artist exhibitions, and play and film screenings. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy horse riding, golf, Wicklow Way Walking and beaches nearby, while the local town Aughrim, voted best town in Ireland, is very old and picturesque with several shops and pubs to explore. Nearby Avoca is home to the TV series, Ballykissangel, and Avoca hand-weaving and craft shops.
