Abhainn Ri, Fáilte Ireland awarded, cottages offer you a superb holiday rental in Wicklow. The cottages are designed to give you that very special living space. The farm cottages are furnished and fitted in a country style suitable to its wonderful rural location.
All cottages at Abhainn Ri are maintained to the very highest standards with superb attention to detail guaranteed for our valued guests. We offer our guests a cottage home from home with lots of added little extras included.
We have four cottages Beech, Ash, Holly & Ivy and they are all identical and they all have wonderful views. Ideal for family holidays or group accommodation bookings. We always welcome our guests on arrival and then leave them settle in and enjoy our home baked welcome treat.
Guests are welcome to use our Wifi to keep up to date with family & friends while enjoying freedom on the farm.
Farmhouse Foods
Guests staying in the cottages are welcome to book breakfast in the farmhouse and evening meals can be ordered and delivered to the cottages. Request menus by email.

Holly Cottage is specially adapted for a wheelchair user and is fully Wheelchair Approved.
We are also very committed & friendly to the environment and have a very strong Abhainn Ri Eco Policy.

At Abhainn Ri we have our very own water supply of clear sparkling spring water, it is only the purest taken directly from its natural source. "Ballintober" the Irish place name – is the town with wells.

Very comfortable self-catering accommodation” Some friends and I have rented one of their super cottages several times now. We continue to be impressed by the high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The breakfasts in the owners' nearby guest house are also highly recommended!

“Absolutely Gorgeous! ” Reviewed 12 September 2016 via mobile This 170 year old farm house is in a great location with stunning views out over Blessington lakes with paddocks of farm animals all around. Only 5 minutes in to the cute town of Hollywood, or another 10 minutes in to Blessington. The house has had great renovations making it very comfy, cosy and modern but without loosing it's character. Niamh was an amazing host having tea, with homemade scones and cakes ready on our arrival as well as a great breakfast spread and a good choice of hot meals to order. The rooms each have their own ensuite and large built in robes with beautiful views. The beds are also very comfy and seem quite new. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will definitely be back one day!!

“Would rate a 6 if I could!” My husband and I stayed here for one night at the end of our week long trip to Ireland. I really can't say enough about just how much we both loved the farmhouse experience. Niamh and Joe were very welcoming and went out of there way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Since it was our last night, we decided to splurge a bit and get the candlelit dinner on the farm. It was completely worth it! All of the food was homemade, fresh and delicious. Each course was a generous portion and we were quite full by the end of it. Wine were reasonably priced and they had a nice variety. Breakfast the next morning was great too! All in all it was the perfect way to end our trip and really allowed us to stop and soak in the beauty one more time before we left. If you are at all considering staying here, just do it! You won't be disappointed :)

“Wonderful holidays” Two weeks of sight seeing on the lovely green island! We enjoyed the cosy cottage and the amazing landscape. You have a lot of space in the cottages and children will love the farm pets. Niamh and Joe the landlords are very kind. Breakfast in the farmhouse is very advisable! It was a very recreative holiday for us.
