Take a horseback ride down the sandy beach, which is a favourite among hikers and runs for 5 km to the river Moy, a favourite among anglers and one of the best places in Europe for salmon fishing. Moreover, Enniscrone has a kid's playground, crazy golf, an 18-hole championship golf course, surf schools, stand-up paddle boarding, and more. Every taste is catered to by a variety of restaurants, from award-winning Ait Eile to quick food and pub fare. A great starting point for exploring the stunning landscapes that counties Sligo and Mayo have to offer is the town's position. A short drive will take you to Ballina, where you can find a range of restaurants, bars, and stores as well as some historic sites.
