Tullavilla is a delightful cottage from which to explore this lovely part of the country.

Area The small village of Castlebaldwin in County Sligo is home to the Sathya Sai Donkey Sanctuary, Castlebaldwin Castle and Carrowkeel Megalithic Site, one of the largest passage tomb cemeteries in Ireland. In the heart of the village is McDermotts Bar and Restaurant and a supermarket, and located on the N4, the main Sligo-to-Dublin road, Castlebaldwin is in a great position for guests to enjoy lots of attractions and days out within easy reach. There is fishing available on Lough Arrow and Lough Bo, Lough Key Forest Park has something for children of all ages, with its Tree Canopy Walk, Zipit, Woodland Segway and the Adventure Play Kingdom, whilst all the family can go back in time at Sligo Folk Park in nearby Riverstown.
Region The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

We really enjoyed our time at Tulla Villa.. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and our stay was made all the better by Eddie and Rosaleen who were very welcoming and helpful without being in any way intrusive. They worked very hard to set up the DVD for us which was much appreciated. The location was very good for exploring the Sligo area and this was helped by the information provided in the cottage.
