Beautifully presented and well appointed, Lynchpin cottage made the perfect base for my wife and I to explore the western areas of Ireland.. The cottage was very clean and tidy with all the necessary mod cons required - and some more besides. We didn't intend to do a lot of cooking other than the basics, but the kitchen had a large range of utensils and equipment to keep budding Gordon Ramsey's happy in creating more comprehensive meals ! Lynchpin made for a peaceful holiday home and quiet haven to return to after a day's adventures, a place to eat, drink and relax in front of the wood burning stove.
In our week long holiday we managed to visit Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Spanish Point, Tarbert, Limerick, Tralee and Tipperary - all being within a reasonable driving distance and taking @1.5 hours duration at most on good roads and mostly light traffic. We used Cork airport as our means of entry/exit, which is @50 miles and just over an hour's drive away.
The web booking process was all straightforward, quick and easy to navigate making for a pleasant experience from the start.
All in all, a very happy stay and enjoyable holiday. Ireland and the people are lovely and on the strength of this experience, I believe we'll be making a return.
