Area
Situated between the towns of Waterville and Kenmare, the village of Sneem is on the route of the Kerry Way. It has a variety of shops, pubs and tea-rooms, and its brightly coloured houses add to the vibrant atmosphere making it a popular spot. It is widely believed that it is not possible to complete a circuit of the Ring of Kerry without passing through this lovely village. Waterville and Kenmare both make for an excellent day out and are close by, as is the beautiful Killarney National Park with its stunning scenery, a must for keen walkers. Macgillicuddy's Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland, offers challenging terrain for the more experienced walker. This wonderful area has a lot to offer as a holiday destination.
