DescriptionRocklands House is a fabulous, new self-catering property located near Killarney, at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks and Carantouhill, Ireland's highest peak. The house, which can sleep up to nine people, is decorated with exceptional taste and finished to the highest standard, making it a wonderful choice for any escape to County Kerry. Accommodation:On the ground floor, Rocklands House has two single bedrooms, one of which is adjoined to the main shower room, which is wheelchair accessible. The second room has an ensuite shower room with WC. There is also an open-plan, split-level utility room and fully equipped kitchen. The sitting room, meanwhile, is a cosy place to relax at the end of a busy day touring the region, as it has a two-sided wood burner with a Valentia Island stone fireplace in the middle. The split level sun lounge opens out to a patio area and partially enclosed private gardens, which are ideal for barbecues (equipment provided on request). The first floor of Rocklands House contains two bedrooms, including one double with ensuite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is a family room with a double and a single bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Guests of Rocklands House can make use of a private, attached garage.Directions:On N72 Killorglin road from Killarney, follow signs for Gap of Dunloe & Glencar. Stay left at Dunloe Hotel. Go through the next crossroads. House is 2 miles away on left.

Absolutely beautiful house (I now consider it my second home, Anne and the locals are so welcoming). Rocklands is ideal for families or groups of friends, with four lovely sized bedrooms all with en-suites. The kitchen is well equipped, with a wonderful log burner between the dining area and lounge, the second lounge area is great for morning coffee! The location is fantastic for the Gap of Dunloe, Ring of Kerry, trips to Dingle for Fungie the dolphin and the landscape and scenery around the house is breathtaking. I can't recommend the house highly enough, but in a way I want to keep it a secret as well !! X

I recently stayed here , the place is a luxury house with amazing views not too far from local pub and shop. Its situated on the gap of dunloe.Its such a cosy and warm house. I just cannot thank Ann the owner enough for such a warm welcome on arrival such a personal touch and the place was spotless. All amenities in house including a cot! I will definitely be back ,dream weekend break away we so enjoyed ourselves.

I have stayed in Rocklands House on five occasions now over the past 3 years and absolutely love the house, the location, the locals and especially Ann and her amazing hospitality and warm welcome.
The whole family on various occasions, sister, cousin, friends and parents have all stayed and everyone of them loved the house and we will all be looking to stay again in the future.
