OverviewWriter’s Lodge is a welcoming four bedroom house in a fantastic location. With it’s unique layout and variety of classic, contemporary and vintage furniture this house is a great find. Open the front door and step out to enjoy everything Dingle has to offer. Being on one of the main streets in this artistic, lively town you can enjoy the numerous assets that Dingle has to offer. This is a gorgeous house full of character and fully accessible for wheelchair use with a disabled bathroom. Families can enjoy the secluded courtyard which can be a real sun trap during the Summer months.BedroomsThere are four beautifully furnished bedrooms. On the ground floor off the kitchen/diner is a very large bedroom with dark walnut furniture that looks out on to the courtyard. It has a large double bed and an ensuite disabled bathroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The largest is a bright and airy family room with a walk in wardrobe and two double beds. Then there is a small double room and a single that look out over John street. All the bedrooms have lovely linen and high quality furniture.BathroomsThere are two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is whitewashed with adorable quirky features. It has a bath, shower and toilet that leads into a washroom with a sink and built-in walnut units. The downstairs bathroom is large with a shower, sink and toilet, all equipped fully for disabled use.Living AreaThe living area is split into two with small reading room off the main lounge. This room is full of books and has a chaise longue and open fire to create a gorgeous reading snug. The lounge which leads through to the kitchen/diner is unique and quaint filled with classic furniture, exquisite artwork and more books!KitchenA lovely vintage style kitchen with a gorgeous dresser and large dining table. The room is well lit with a sky light and leads out onto the courtyard. The kitchen is well equipped with all your culinary needs. It has a homely and comfortable feel which is an rare quality to find in a rental properties. Pet Friendly Accommodation

Writers Lodge allows pets so you can bring your furry friend on holiday too. Lots of lovely dog walks from the house. No pets allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture and keep your dog on a lead around sheep.

This house was so perfect for our group. There was 6 of us in total and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was perfectly situated in town so close to everything. We all said that we would all happily come back to stay in that house again. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Dingle for any reason.

Stayed for four days recently. Property has wonderful location, in town, just a few footsteps from great restaurants, pubs, sights, and groceries. We were just a couple, but property would be idea for a family or a group, as there’s a large upstairs with separate bedrooms. Wifi and washer/dryer need updating, but other than that, great property. And Shelley, the property manager, was extremely responsive and communicative.

We had a great week at the Writers Lodge in Dingle, and found the accommodations and location to be ideal for our family of five (including three teenagers, who were thrilled to have their own bedrooms). This was our third trip to Dingle, and definitely the best visit thanks to the fantastic central location–just a quick walk to pubs, restaurants, hikes, the harbor and the surf shop. We really liked the layout of the house, the comfortable furnishings and the cozy kitchen, and are already figuring out how to return again next year. Two thumbs up!

The house was near all the action, but still managed to be quiet. It had all the charm we wanted and space we needed. There are plenty of good restaurants close by so we weren’t gone long! Our agent was very responsive.

Oh Dingle! What a fun place. The cottage was so central and there was great service - all our questions were answered in the meet and greet. We had a memorable weekend in a really lovely house.
