Caitriona
July 2017
We are a family of five who spent a two-week break in Oyster Cottage in July 2017. Everything about the house was great from start to finish. The house itself is bright, airy, very comfortable and well designed. It was very nicely furnished and with lovely touches throughout – pictures/pottery etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linen crisp and white. It was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space for all of us with two sitting rooms (lovely to relax in if the weather was bad or after a day’s sightseeing), three bathrooms and a utility room. The kitchen was modern, well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The solar panels worked a treat – they provided hot water nearly all the time apart from the occasional wet and cloudy day where we resorted to the boiler. I loved the house and felt at home straight away.
The location between Dingle and Ventry was ideal for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way and to enjoy Dingle itself and surrounding area.
We received a very friendly welcome from the manager, Laura, who was most helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone looking for a very comfortable, quality base close to Dingle
