Our stay at the Rowantree cottage could not have been better.. Located perfectly in the Gap of Dunloe, within the Ring of Kerry and a stone throw away from the nicest attractions in county Kerry. The host Ellen is helpful and kind. We had all the necessities we required in the cottage, an equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. There is a nice wooden bench is the front garden surrounded by trees and bushes and there is another wooden bench at the back garden overlooking a large field, regularly visited by deer, horses and wild rabbit. I was told that this is also visited by a beaver, but we were not so lucky to see it.
We were 6 adults and a child. 2 comfy double bedrooms and another triple bedroom, all with large windows overlooking the front or back garden. My kid spent hours at the window, enjoying the wildlife and views.
Will definitely recommend this cottage.
