Greenhills Cottage 2 is a lovely detached cottage set along a rural road, two miles from the village of Kilcar in County Donegal. This upside down cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor double and one ground floor twin with Jack-and-Jill access to a shower room. The cottage also has a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric stove and a ground floor utility with woodburner. Outside there's shared off road parking for two cars and a first floor front decked area with furniture. Greenhills Cottage 2 is a great base for discovering all that County Donegal has to offer, with sandy beaches, walks and cycling trails all close by.

Area
The village of Kilcar is situated at one of the most westerly points of County Donegal. The village offers traditional music on a regular basis in many of their pubs, and it's located in an area of stunning natural beauty where wonderful views of Slieve League Cliffs and Muckross Head can be seen.

Region
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

First floor front decked area with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Beach 1 mile. Note: WiFi can be slow.

Beautiful cottage tastefully decorated .. Very comfortable with easy access to walks Hosts Catholic and Seamus were extremely friendly and welcoming. Mellow the dog is a great guide to the local walks lolol A lovely experience

This is a lovely cottage in a unique setting the place to escape and get away from it all yet close enough to enjoy village and town life if you choose a moon crescent beach /cove is a walk away and the scenery feeds your soul

Stubbled across this place on air BnB owner very friendly although the owner lives beside it you wouldn't know they where there. Although if you knocked their door they would help you. The place is situated in a quiet location we would definitely go back the place is spotless within walking distance to the shop also only a drive away from the rusty mackrel.

This is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location and the family are really nice and friendly.. As we wanted to cook for ourselves and do a bit of washing we found the facilities lacking,it said that there was a washing machine but there wasnt and the kitchen was so dark (no ceiling lights) that cooking was difficult also the table lights didnt work either or the sockets.The lady did say they had had some problems but we felt a little let down and as we have used Skyes before it was unexpected. Never the less we had a lovely holiday and I would use this cottage again but the kitchen needs a bit of a makeover.

We had to pay the whole week also we only stayed five days.. This was not known when booked. The pictures and description on the Website didn't match reality. For example there was mold in the bathroom, and toiletts were out of order several times.

I loved the design and layout of the property. The location is lovely, not too far from the wee town and far out enough to the stunning views and go for a peaceful walk under the stars. We had a very enjoyable stay.
