Close to Killavullen and the ancestral home of the world famous Hennessy Cognac Family and within walking distance of Bridgetown Priory.

Our cottages provide an idyllic setting, the perfect base from which to explore the many scenic and historic sites of the Blackwater River Valley, where hill walking - the Ballyhoura Bears welcome our guests on their weekly walks, mountain biking at Ireland’s only bike trail, horse riding, river and lake angling, along with many other rural pursuits are available.Spend a quiet day in Annes Grove Gardens, Doneraile Park or Millstreet Country Park.

Play golf (Mallow, Fermoy and Doneraile within 12klm, clay pidgeon shoot, wake board.
Killavullen Farmers Market is a must for our guests. The Farm Cottages are centrally situated to explore Cork, Killarney, Limerick, Cashel, Lismore and Waterford.

John and Gertrude welcome you to experience our way of life.The cottages are attached to our working dairy farm, ideal for children and pets. Farm tours are free to our guests who are welcome to help at calf feeding time. Bird and animal watchers can sit in the garden or by the river bank where there is an abundance of flora and fauna.
On site amenities include riverbank walk, a full sized tennis court, children’s play area, a mini soccer pitch and pool tables. We are happy to arrange angling for our guests.

Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Centre - just 15 minutes from our cottages. We are happy to organise bike hire if required, bringing your own bike we have secure lock-up for bikes.
Come and enjoy time on Ireland's only dedicated Trails.
Loop 1 – 16 km, short and almost entirely on single track which climb gently and have exciting but not too technical descents.
Loop 2 – 27 km, moderate length with more challenging climbs. The majority of the trail is single track with approx 7km on forest road.

Loop 3 – 48 km, a long trail with most of the climbs on forest roads and all of the descents on single track.
