Situated just over 20 miles from Galway city, the small village of Rossaveel has a shop, pub, a restaurant open during the summer, a school and church, along with a port with regular sailings to the Aran Islands. Four miles away is Aer Arann, which is a small airport with daily flights to the Aran Islands, and in the townland of Ballinahown is the home to the headquarters for TG4, Ireland's Irish speaking TV channel. There's plenty of attractions in the area, including Spiddal village, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Pearse’s Cottage Rosmuc, Galway Bay and the Aran islands. Home to unspoilt landscapes, traditional cottages, stunning seascapes and raw Irish charm, this part of the Emerald Isle is the perfect choice for an Irish escape.
