This one satisfies all our Greek island dreams, with unobstructed Aegean Sea views, a minimal yet modern interior, and well-considered details for everyone – from the shallow wading pool suited to children to sweeping sea views indoors and out. Mornings begin with coffee to the sound of cicadas and an earthy sea breeze drifting through, while evenings are made for grill nights on the patio as the sun melts into the horizon. Better yet, Golden Beach is less than a five-minute walk away. We think it’s pretty perfect.

Home truths:
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. You'll need to keep an eye on little ones at all times.
*One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed and an additional single bed. The king can be split into two singles upon request.
*If you need to catch up on work, one of the bedrooms features a sea-view workspace.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
