Description
Forget beach clubs, glitzy bars and being seen, this beautiful home is showing us a quieter side of Mykonos. A ten-minute drive from Ftelia beach, the plot is carved into an arid hillside, giving you beautiful views of the Aegean ocean and the town below from every angle. Built in the traditional Cyclades style, the home incorporates white-washed and stone walls with French doors to create big, breathy rooms. A plush L-shaped sofa sits under wooden beams - and with sliding doors across one wall, it may be hard to pay attention to the TV with the stunning vistas in front of you. Arches, rather than doors, connect living areas giving an easy sense of flow in the home, without it feeling too cramped. Beds face towards the sea too, though are split into various outbuildings to give some privacy. Even the gym, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, makes working out a cinch thanks to the background scenes. Step outside to really soak up the panoramas, whether it's in the infinity pool, the plunge pool, or the hot tub.
Home truths: *We recommend having a car in this area
*The infinity pool and plunge pool are not fenced in - small children should be kept an eye on
*Four of the bedrooms are on different levels with independent entrances Amenities
