We felt very comfortable in the Rose House - the interior was very cozy and detailed, not like some holiday homes where you only find the bare essentials. There were books, toys, children's books, films, CDs. The children loved their bunk bed and the adjoining attic. Outside there was a giant trampoline, hammock, table tennis, boats, rabbit hutch, bantam chickens - we loved it. We went hiking and swimming a lot

Beautiful property, nice landlords. Cons: The lake wasn't really inviting for swimming, there were too many mosquitoes and the blinds on the first floor could only be rolled up by hand. For that, 0.01 stars deducted. Despite everything, this was one of the most beautiful, relaxing and amazing holidays of many years. A full 9.99 points, would definitely go back.
